Time Equipment Installs Parking System for Stadium Place
Time Equipment Company modernized the parking system for Stadium Place near Lumen Field in Seattle.
Stadium Place is a transformational mixed-use project that occupies two city blocks adjacent to Lumen Field’s former north parking lot. The Stadium Place South Tower, Known as The WAVE, is a 26-story Concrete Structure with 330 apartment units completed in 2014.
The Wave’s structure consists of multistory glass-clad boxes indirectly stacked atop one another. Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects designed this structure, and JTM Construction built it.
While residents used this garage, the location wanted the ability to sell reservation parking and event parking for Seattle Seahawks, Sounders, and Mariner games, as well as other events. Time Equipment Company installed one new TIBA MP-60 entry terminal, one SW-60 exit terminal, and an AU-60 Access Control terminal to provide reservation parkers access to the garage when the grill is down. Credit card readers were installed in the entry terminal to accommodate advance parking sales for stadium events.
This installation included custom software developed by Time Equipment Company and TIBA based on the operator’s request to accommodate these event parking sales. This software allowed Parking Management to change event rates on the fly during game day events depending on the number of customers looking for event parking.
